1. Introduction about the university
Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is a public university, established on September 24th, 1997. TDTU is currently ranked as Vietnam's Top 2 University and it is on the way in joining the ranks of the most prestigious Asia Pacific Higher Education institutions. In Vietnam, TDTU is the first University to be rated 4/5 stars by QS Stars University Ratings (UK). In the Asian university rankings for the year 2019 announced by QS, TDTU is currently ranked 291th-300th among Asian universities. In addition, according to the World University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is ranked second among the 7 Vietnamese universities in the list. Besides, on July 2nd, 2018 The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) decided to recognize that Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) complies with French and European standards for universities. This accreditation has been granted for a 5-year term, from July 2018 to July 2023.
TDTU is currently 108,1 hectares which is widely allocated in 6 campuses with the total area of plants accounting for 77.75% living space. Currently TDTU has 1,400 lecturers/staff including 553 International professors and experts; 24,000 students are currently studying with 2,300 international students from 16 countries; 17 faculties with 40 Bachelor programs; 18 master’s programs; 25 Doctoral programs; 55 research groups. TDTU has signed a partnership with 137 International Universities in the world.
2. College introduction
2.1. Overview: College of International Studies of Ton Duc Thang University is in charge of the international training program at tertiary level. At present, the college as well as Ton Duc Thang University has cooperated with 137 universities around the world (link list of cooperative schools https://international.tdtu.edu.vn/en/cooperation/international-partners).
2.2. Education and Training programs
Undergraduate programs are designed according to the programs of TOP 100 universities worldwide. International programs, in particular, are following the programs of these universities. Each subject has a core textbook and at least three main reference materials. The textbooks and reference materials are the materials used in the world’s top 100 universities in terms of each major.
Program outcome standards: in addition to national standards, students must reach the B2 level in English; 750/1,000 points in MOS; be able to swim 50 meters; attain Physical education and defense certificates; accumulate enough credits as required; pass the professional skills test; be respectful, disciplined and work well in teams.
Peculiarities of the education system in the College:
100% of students study in standard theoretical rooms, practice in modern and well-equipped practice rooms / workshops; 100% of students can visit and serve their professional internship in factories, companies, offices. During the study period, students interested in scientific research can involve in the study under the guidance of their instructors. In addition, students can take short-term exchange courses in international student exchange programs with leading universities in the world; apply for internship to receive internship grants at the faculty or other units in the university.

After graduattion, students will have the advantage of speaking foreign language, being independent, have teamwork skills, are discipline and with high professional level. Those with international qualifications, in particular, will have more job opportunities. The graduates may work:
- At companies, multinational corporations in Vietnam, with the support of the college in terms of job search; international students will be assisted in applying for work visa;
- Working overseas: TDTU graduates can work abroad under the free labor rotation scheme in ASEAN or seek employment overseas because TDTU's graduation diploma is globally recognized by many countries;
- In the country where students study phase 2: international students who pursue the model of international campus rotation may stay and work in the country and be trained according to foreign labor policy of the country.
